GM unveiled the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 model as part of an online event called ‘Putting the World on Notice’ which aired on YouTube on October 26th, 2021.
The feature film reveals what it takes to create the new high-performance model and features interviews with basketball star and gold medalist Devin Booker, driver Emelia Hartford, as well as engineers and designers.
GM President Mark Reuss said in a statement: “The new Corvette Z06 defines the American supercar.
“It builds on the distinctive design and groundbreaking dynamics introduced with the mid-engine Corvette and elevates them to deliver refined but uncompromising track capability with world-class performance.”
Corvette lovers will be delighted to know that the supercar comes with a high-revving and naturally aspirated V-8 engine that produces 670 horsepower and revs to 8600 rpm.
GM says that this car will have the most powerful naturally aspirated engine of any production car so far.
