Courtney Love claims Johnny Depp “gave her CPR” and looked after daughter Frances – Uber Turco News

Johnny Depp’s defamation case has resumed in Virginia after taking a ten-day break and Amber Heard has now taken to the stand.

Day 19 was a busy day of testimony, with Johnny’s old friend Bruce Witkin, his former partner Ellen Barkin and computer programmer and social media forensic expert Ron Schnell all being called as Amber’s witnesses.

The Pirates of the Caribbean actor is suing his ex-wife for $50m over an op-ed she published in The Washington Post in 2018. She has countersued for $100m.

Courtney Love claims Johnny Depp “gave me CPR”

A video of Courtney Love was shared by an Instagram account called House In Habit on Thursday (May 2019) that sees the musician defending the actor.

The Instagram account is run by a woman called Jessica Reed Kraus, who has over 960,000 followers on the platform and posts news and celebrity drama. However, it appears to have been temporarily suspended right now.

In the clip which was also posted on Twitter, Courtney claimed that Johnny once saved her life, saying: “I just want to tell you that Johnny gave me CPR in 1995 when I overdosed outside the Viper Room.”

Singer says he also looked after her daughter

She then claimed that the actor wrote her daughter Frances, whose father is late Nirvana singer Kurt Cobain, a four-page letter on her 13th birthday when her mother was suffering from addiction.

Courtney went on to claim that Johnny also sent limousines to her school, took all her friends to see the Pirates of the Caribbean movie and gave her a trailer.

According to her report, Frances repeatedly told her mother that Johnny Depp “saved her life”.

She concluded her video by saying she has “empathy” for Amber Heard as she knows what it’s like being “the most hated woman,” but said she doesn’t agree with her “using a movement for her own gain”.

“I hope juice gets served,” the 57-year-old added.

This isn’t the first time

It’s unclear how close Johnny Depp and Courtney Love are, and little is known about their friendship. However, this isn’t the first time the singer has spoken out about giving the actor CPR.

A Page Six article from September 2009 reports that Kurt Cobain’s ex-wife revealed that the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory actor “gave her CPR” during an interview with Britain’s Style Magazine.

“Nobody has ever loaned me money. I mean, I was going to die on a few occasions. Johnny Depp gave me CPR once. I was watching that movie where he plays Dillinger and I was like, ‘Motherf***er, I never had myself any JD except CPR,” she reportedly said.

At the time of writing this, Courtney hasn’t addressed the claims on her personal Instagram, where she has 1.1 million followers. HITC has reached out to the singer for comment.
