Arsenal fans have loved Aaron Ramsdale’s reaction to Calum Chambers goal during their 2-0 League Cup win against Leeds on Tuesday night.
Given that Ramsdale is now Arsenal’s number one, he was dropped to the bench for the EFL showdown last night, with Bernd Leno coming into the XI and taking the gloves.
Just before the hour mark, Ben White had to go off with what looked like illness, with Chambers coming on in his place.
Within seconds of entering the field, Chambers was wheeling away in celebration because his header, via a corner, managed to sneak over the line.
Chambers ran towards Arsenal’s bench in jubilation and Ramsdale could be seen joining in with his teammates.
The shot-stopper had a look on his face like he was the one who scored the goal for his club.
That’s what Arsenal fans are liking about the player and how he is involved even when he’s not playing.
His celebrations are becoming a bit legendary and it is seeing him become a bit of a fan favourite.
The England international does seem to have an infectious character that rubs up on the rest of his teammates and filters through to the fans also.
Nonetheless, here is a selection of Arsenal fans reacting to Ramsdale’s celebration yesterday:
