Some Arsenal fans on social media have been raving over Eddie Nketiah after his performance against Leeds United on Tuesday evening.
Arsenal beat Leeds 2-0 to progress to the next round of the Carabao Cup and Nketiah scored the goal that sealed the win, capitalising on a defensive mistake from Liam Cooper to score from close-range.
The striker made a meal of the finish, and it looked as though he was going to miss at one point, but, all that matters is that he got the ball into the net.
Arsenal fans were rather impressed by his all-around performance, praising his touch and his hold-up play.
The young striker has often blown hot and cold for Arsenal. One week he looks like a genuine wonderkid and the next he looks like a player who will never fulfil his potential.
We haven’t seen much of Nketiah this season, but in this performance, he looked much improved and some Arsenal supporters were certainly impressed.
Here’s what the Gunners fanbase have been saying on social media…
I know Eddie Nketiah is leaving next summer, but I’ve been so impressed with his development this season. His hold up play has improved leaps and bounds. He’s going to be great wherever he goes.

That Nketiah touch to get the ball over Meslier was genuinely first class. He’s got something about him that boy. I doubt it’ll work out for him at Arsenal but he’ll score a lot of goals wherever he ends up. #AFC

I don’t know if im reactionary or not but i think if Nketiah improves some aspects of his game he could really be a great striker , his movement in the box is really good
