Tottenham Hotspur fans have reacted to the rumours of Mauricio Pochettino and Manchester United.

The Athletic have reported that the former Spurs boss still admires the Manchester United job, whilst ESPN claim that he retains support within the hierarchy at Old Trafford, amid pressure on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Spurs fans don’t like what they are hearing regarding their former boss and they think if he ever returned to North London, then it would be for them.

Pochettino is currently in the PSG dugout, but things aren’t going as well as the Argentine would have liked.

It’s not a case of the results not coming through the doors, but the performances the mega-rich French side are producing.

Either way, Spurs fans are hoping that he doesn’t take the hot seat at Old Trafford, if it becomes available.

After Man United’s 5-0 defeat to Liverpool over the weekend, it was obvious that Solskjaer’s job was going to be on the line.

And whether it happens after Man United’s visit of Tottenham at the weekend, or in a few weeks time, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Solskjaer is sacked sooner, rather than later.

If that’s the case, then Pochettino’s name, which was linked when Jose Mourinho was sacked from the role, will understandably be brought up again.

But with Tottenham yet to recover from Pochettino’s departure in 2019, their fans would prefer to see him return to their colours, rather than don one of another English side.

Here is a selection of Spurs fans reacting to the Pochettino rumours:
