What is the meaning of ‘Blue-Collar Boys’ on TikTok?
According to Investopedia, blue-collar workers are defined as those who get their hands dirty doing manual labour or working in a division of manufacturing. Typically, they wear heavy work boots, a work shirt and blue denim jeans.

Luke Combs’ track ‘Blue Collar Boys’
The TikTok trend is accompanied by the aptly named song ‘Blue Collar Boys’ where Luke Combs sings about the hard manual labour blue-collar workers have to endure. From “the white paint peeling off a picket fence” to “the rust stains covering a Craftsman wrench.”
Combs also describes that blue-collar workers wear “worn-out boots and old Levi’s” as well as “bust [their] backs barely getting by.” Interestingly, while the girls have been crushing on these blue-collar boys the guys have responded saying how demanding the job actually is as well as the fact that some girls families disapprove of their trade.
