Gers supporters traveling to Spain without tickets for Wednesday’s Europa League showpiece were advised they could gather to watch the game just five miles from the stadium.

Fans WITH tickets can also meet up at the Alameda de Hércules as they make their way to the Sevilla Stadium for the clash.

UEFA rubber stamped a fan zone earlier today where ticketless fans can watch the match at the Estadio La Cartuja.

That is the stadium Celtic played in for their 2003 defeat to Porto.

Gers announced earlier tonight that fans without final briefs could purchase fan zone tickets for 10 euros, with the stadium able to host 60,000 fans.

Thousands of fans are set to make the trip, with some already embarking on a grand exodus to the South of Spain for the match.

But those looking to join fellow Rangers fans at the fan zone have made their feelings known when the ticket purchase site crashed almost immediately.

Clicking the link provided to the Spanish site, the message that was shown read: “Due to the high number of requests the sale of tickets is temporarily stopped.”

Fans were quick to voice their frustration at the situation.

One tweeted: “Had tickets in my basket and website crashed joke.”

Another angry fan said: “F*** sake, a week to organise and website can’t handle it. The fans are chartering 737’s and the club can’t organise a p*** up in a brewery.”

A third said: “Just got all the way to payment and got kicked out.”

Another posted: “Any chance of sorting out the crashing of website?”

Someone else added: “Is anyone getting in??? The link is useless or crashed.”

While another frustrated fan said: “If this is organised, sorted and dealt with at this stage (Friday 13th) then why can’t you spend the remaining time getting a firm sorted to host the rest of us in our own stadium at home before you go?”
