The Book of Boba Fett episode 2

Episode 2 of The Book of Boba Fett, titled, ‘The Tribes of Tatooine,’ focused on more flashbacks of the bounty hunter, during his time with the Tusken Raiders.

In the present day, however, we saw Boba and Fennec Shand interrogate the assassin that tried to kill them in episode 1, after which they are led to Mos Espa’s mayor, Mok Shaiz.

Episode 2 also delivered a stunning train sequence – showing the full effect of the show’s StageCraft video wall – and a thrilling bar fight.

Additionally, fans were also treated to the first, live-action appearance of Black Krrsantan.

Who is Black Krrsantan?

Nicknamed Santy, BK, or Black K, Black Krrsantan is known as a male Wookiee bounty hunter, who worked between the rule of the Galactic Empire and the New Republic era.

Born in Kashyyyk and trained as a gladiator by the Xonti Brothers, Krrsantan was later hired by Jabba the Hutt and also Darth Vadar during the Galactic Civil War, used to capture an Emperor agent.

Krrsantan is “one of Jabba’s best bounty hunters,” according to Boba Fett, and he uses brass knuckles and a bowcaster as his weapons.

The character’s first credited appearance was in issue 1 of Marvel Comics’ Darth Vadar comic book series and fans believe that this is the same Krrsantan in The Book of Boba Fett because of the Wookiee’s recognizable black hair and utility belts.
